WORK EXPERIENCE

2012-current   CSA Manager, New Pond Farm, West Redding, CT
                        Manage planning, planting, harvesting, distribution and record keeping for small produce CSA at environmental educational farm. Supervise interns and volunteers. Write weekly newsletter.     

2006-2011       Project Manager, Asterisk Builders, Los Angeles, CA
Directed the activities of all projects' site supervisors, coordinated clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, government agency inspectors and vendors, directed work schedules, and managed documents. Provided design/build options to clients and architechts as required.

2005-2006       Site Superintendent, Asterisk Builders, Los Angeles, CA
Provided daily on site supervision of contemporary architectural building projects. Coordinated, directed and monitored subcontractors and vendors for site work. Ensured work was in accordance with plan documents and permitting agency requirements and that activities were safe and organized. Provided daily log, to-do lists, and site reports.

Mural and decorative painter for private clients and businesses. Oversaw large scale mural production and supervised mural painting crew.

Designed plots and created a crop plan/planting schedule for New Haven Farms’ proposed urban CSA. Serving as a member of the Steering Committee.

2011-current   Volunteer, Yale Sustainable Food Project, New Haven, CT

2004-2011       Neighborhood Gardens and ImprovementLos Angeles, CA
                        Employed a group of neighborhood children and teenagers, planted gardens on two separate vacant lots in east LA, including a combined vegetable and California native plant garden on a 5000 square foot hillside lot. Additionally employed neighborhood teenagers to repaint a series of derelict buildings in our neighborhood.
